One of the prominent disciples of Reb Mordechai of Chernobyl was Reb Yisroel Ber (1789-1850), a Chassidic master whose prayers of intercession on behalf of thousands of fellow Jews earned him the name, “the Tzaddik of Vilednik.” Before his passing, the Tzaddik of Vilednick assured his Chassidim that the prayers of whoever visits his gravesite, even if the visitor merely touched the door-handle of his Ohel, would be answered.
Oholei Tzadikim and Geder Avos constructed an Ohel and a guesthouse at the site. To make the site readily accessible, the path leading to it in this snowy region includes a neatly-fenced bridge.
